Sara Kazemimanesh is a D.C.-based multidisciplinary writer, filmmaker, and educator. She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Ohio University, an M.A. in History and Comparative Literature from Central European University, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran.

Sara specializes in transforming ideas into compelling narratives, while remaining attuned to the distinct vision of each author or project. Her approach to story development is grounded in research and a deep appreciation for structure, context, and voice.

Sara’s video work has been showcased at international film festivals, most recently receiving the Best Experimental Film Award at the 2024 Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto. She frequently collaborates with artists, journalists, and academics, providing editorial support and developing a wide range of content, from video art and interviews to artist statements and project narratives.
